How to achieve the best spray tan!
Before
• Shower and lightly exfoliate with a mild scrub the day prior to your appointment. This will rid the skin of dead skin cells enabling the tan to last longer. Shaving is also recommended a day before your airbrush tan.
• Waxing, pedicures, and facials should be done at least one day prior to your tanning session.
• DO NOT apply makeup, perfumes, lotions or deodorant prior to tan – they prevent the absorption of the bronzing solution resulting in streaking and minimal color. Remove all jewelry.
• Bring dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip flops to wear afterward. A towel to sit on in your car is also recommended if you have light colored or leather seats.
• Wear whatever makes you comfortable. We have disposable bandeau bras and bikini underwear for purchase or if you choose to wear underwear or a swimsuit during the session, make sure they are black or dark in color. Most customers prefer no tan lines, so nude is acceptable.

After
• The tan can take up to 12-24 hours to develop, so you will get darker as time goes on. A natural bronzer is added to the spray so we know where we are spraying and you leave with some color.
• Showering: We recommend waiting at least 10 hours after your spray tan application (most leave it on overnight, it may come off on your sheets, but it will wash out). During your first shower, you will see the bronzer color runoff in your shower…THIS IS NOT YOUR SPRAY TAN AND IS NORMAL! We ask that you wash with your hands and a liquid soap that DOES NOT contain lanolin. And most importantly PAT DRY AFTER YOUR SHOWER!!
• DO NOT sit directly on leather or light fabric seats and furniture prior to first shower- place a dark colored towel down.
• Sunbathing, sweating, or exercise is not recommended until after your first shower.

Make it last!
• For maximum tan results moisturize twice a day (or after every shower) with alcohol-free lotion. We recommend Aveeno. Hydrating your skin will prolong the life of your tan and reduce the rate at which your skin exfoliates.
• Try to avoid long hot showers and baths, hot tubs and swimming pools. The hot water will dry your skin faster and the chemicals in jacuzzis and swimming pools will fade your tan more quickly.
• When showering, use your hand instead of a washcloth and pat your skin dry after showering rather than rubbing dry.
